ALABAR KAIKOURA CUP RACE DAY 3rd Nov

Take the stress out of deciding who is driving to the races. The Whale Train will get you and your friends from Christchurch or Rangiora and return while you take in the scenery and make your selections for race day. The Kaikoura Trotting Club is fortunate to partner with Pounamu Tourism to make this a day to remember. Get your groups together and book on the link below now while space is available.

Kaikoura is a unique 1119-metre grit track, sitting between the mountains and the sea.
It’s one of the most picturesque venues in the world, and home to the famous Kaikoura Cup.
Races here begin from the 1900-metre start, and the track’s tight turns always make for exciting contests. The 1900-metre races begin at the top of the back straight. From there, it’s a run to the winning post and then one full lap
Over the years, top horses have used Kaikoura as the perfect lead-up to New Zealand Cup Week at Addington.
